Charbel, Turkish ambassador follow up on abductees’ issue

Interior Minister Marwan Charbel discussed the latest updates on the issue of the Lebanese and Turkish hostages with Turkish Ambassador to Lebanon Inan Ozyildiz on Tuesday.

Charbel briefed the ambassador on his visit to Turkey and meetings held with Turkish officials, confirming that the case will be followed up until "a happy ending" is reached.

In turn, the Turkish ambassador praised the Lebanese cabinet’s “positive dealings” with this issue, thanking Charbel for his ongoing efforts.
