A man was caught red-handed selling his 3-year-old child for an amount of $8,000 at a house in Beirut. The judicial police also seized the child’s medical vaccines report.
This comes after intelligence was provided to the anti-human trafficking and moral protection police, stating that a father was attempting to sell his child for an amount of money.
Therefore, a unit form the judicial police kicked off investigations into the matter and managed to identify the man in question as Syrian national A. F, born in 1989.
After his arrest, the man confessed during the interrogation to his crime and following DNA tests performed by the forensic laboratories, the results returned positive, confirming that the detained man is in face the child’s biological father.
