The southern city of Sidon erupted in chaos on Saturday, where supporters of MP Ossama Saad closed roads, burned tires and set garbage bins on fire.
This comes after a dispute erupted between leader of Popular Nasserite Organization Ossama Saad and Internal Security Forces members who prevented him from crossing in his car towards the location of the inauguration ceremony of the new ISF building in Sidon, held under the auspices of Interior Minister Raya al-Hassan.
The road in question had been closed by the security forces as a security measure previously announced by the ISF.
