MP Michel Moawad announced Wednesday the launch of an initiative for the reforestation of the affected areas.
In a press conference held at the Parliament, Moawad urged all the parties to assume their responsibilities in light of the tragedy that took place on Tuesday, calling for a serious and transparent security and judicial investigation to hold accountable the mafias and all those who benefit from the fires.
In the same context, the MP offered his deepest condolences over the death of martyr Salim Abou Moujahed and wished quick recovery for those affected while resisting the fires.
