Jumblatt: Syrian regime’s aggression supersedes that of Israel against Palestinians
National Struggle Front leader MP Walid Jumblatt expressed irony at some Palestinian leaders who will be attending Tehran’s summit alongside the representatives and supporters of the Syrian regime “whose aggression supersedes that of Israel against the Palestinian people”.

In his weekly statement to al-Anbaa Daily, Jumblatt said that the Progressive Socialist Party’s stance is “unchangable” regarding benefiting from the capacities of the Resistance within the framework of the military institution for the defense of Lebanon, “and only Lebanon”. "The Lebanese state should be the only party to control the country's decision of war and peace" he said.
“Even though the capacity of the Resistance missiles to displace hundreds of thousands of Israelis is indubitable, the Lebanese people have the right to ask about their fate and their future in case of any future war”, he added.

In his concluding remarks, Jumblatt mockingly commended the hosts of the non-aligned countries’ summit, for the Daraya and Basra massacre “which succeeded a series of massacres that took place in al-Haffeh, Traymseh and al-Houla as well as countless other towns, and villages”.
