The crisis in which Lebanon has been drowning unearthed numerous problems that the country suffers from. If solutions had been found many years ago to these problems, everything would have been fine today.
The difficulties in importing wheat to supply the local market encouraged the Litani River Authority as a state institution to seek alternative solutions in western Bekaa.
