MP Yaacoubian denies news saying protesters asked her to leave Riyad al-Soleh and Martyrs Squares
MP Paula Yaacoubian denied on Sunday news circulated saying that protesters in the Martyrs’ Square and Riyad al-Soleh Square asked to her to leave.
Yaacoubian issued a statement in which she said that she met with the protesters for more than an hour and received a warm welcome from them.
She called on "those who promote false news about her to stop promoting insignificant rumors because they are eroding the image of the political parties in power in front of the Lebanese people."
