UAE embassy cancels National Day reception due to Lebanon’s current circumstances
The embassy of the United Arab Emirates' Embassy in Beirut announced on Monday that it canceled the reception on the occasion of UAE's 48th National Day which falls on Dec 2 due to the “extraordinary situation” that Lebanon is going through.

"On this national occasion, UAE Ambassador to Lebanon Dr. Hamad Al Shamsi offered warmest congratulations and blessings to the UAE leadership and Emirati people," the statement added.

Shamsi also wished Lebanon and the “brotherly Lebanese people stability and prosperity.”
