MP Fadi Saad said Sunday that “the country is witnessing a difficult time and the worst that can be done at the moment is exchanging blame and responsibilities.”
In a statement to LBCI’s Nharkom Said, he said that the Lebanese Forces parliamentary bloc did not nominate Hariri for PM during the binding parliamentary consultations out of respect for the protesters in the streets and out of commitment to the Lebanese Forces public opinion.
“For us, Hariri is the best person to lead the current stage; we might have several remarks regarding his performance but the time is not appropriate to exchange accusations amid the crisis,” he explained.
The deputy stressed that the country is facing an economic crisis and an impending collapse, calling for a cabinet that will rescue Lebanon without disputes.
