Injuries from both sides reported during Nejmeh Square scuffles

More than 20 severe and minor injuries were reported on Saturday among the anti-riot police during the scuffles that broke out with protesters in the Nejmeh Square.

 

This as Secretary General of Lebanese Red Cross Georges Kettaneh said to LBCI that 40 injuries were treated on the spot and 30 other injuries from both sides were transported to nearby hospitals.

 

He also added that the toll of injuries might increase during the few coming hours.
