The managing director of the International Monetary Fund Kristalina Georgieva, confirmed that Lebanon has requested the IMF’s technical help in shoring up its economy and drafting a plan to avert financial collapse.

This news was also previously confirmed by the IMF’s official spokesman and a governmental source to LBCI.
