Revolutionary Guards chief says Israel war on Iran ‘will eventually happen’

Iran's Revolutionary Guards commander General Mohammad Ali Jaafari announced on Saturday that Israel will eventually wage a war against Iran, adding “Tehran is ready for such an option and Israel will be destroyed as a result.”

ISNA and Fars news agencies quoted Jaafari as saying that the war will eventually happen, “but it is not certain where and when”.

“The shameful and cancerous tumor that is Israel is seeking war against us; they now consider that war is the only way to confront us, but they are stupid to the point that their American masters should stop them”, Jaafari said.
