Protests over anti-Islam film continue

Protesters gathered on Saturday evening in a town of al-Qatif province, eastern Saudi Arabia, to denounce the anti-Islam film. The protesters included religious figures, women and children participated

In Bangladesh, schools and businesses are closed and transportation has been disrupted across Bangladesh as hard-line Islamic groups protesting a film that denigrates the Prophet Muhammad enforce a general strike.

Thousands of security officials have been deployed in the capital, Dhaka, to try to avert violence during Sunday's strike, where no violence was immediately reported.
