Lebanese Forces Veterans launch reform movement
The Lebanese Forces Veterans group held on Sunday an extended meeting to launch the reform movement under the slogan: “We are the Lebanese Forces and the Lebanese Forces return to us”. The meeting tackled the situation of Lebanese Forces amid the current circumstances.

A Lebanese Forces veteran, Jean Khoury, delivered a speech whereby he said that this movement is “a loud voice in the wilderness of personalization, individuality and unilateralism”.

For his part, another member, Hanna Atik, refused the three conditions imposed to become a member of the Lebanese Forces, “which are money, education and the need to “crawl” in order to achieve the goals”.

Atik addressed the current leader of the Lebanese Forces asking him: “where are the Lebanese Forces, its heritage and fighters? Where are the financial transparency and clear responsibility? Where are the Lebanese Forces’ properties?”
