Students protest the Lebanese University’s decision to raise fees
A number of protesting Lebanese University students gathered before the faculty of science – Hadath on Tuesday to denounce the newly imposed increase in registration fees.

Students chanted slogans and hoisted placards reading: “till when will we remain hostage to your decisions?”

The students said that the increase will lead to the “bankruptcy” of the university, calling on the administration to go back on this "unjust" decision.

Registration fees for Masters students were raised without prior notice from 250,000 LBP to 750,000 LBP.
