Confusion among students, will schools commit to strike?

The Union Coordinating Committee will be holding on Wednesday a general and inclusive strike, while the economic bodies reiterated their rejection for the pay scale draft law, stressing that it only leads to further deficit and loss in income.

Meanwhile, confusion erupted as usual with the strike’s date is drawing near. The schools remain uncertain whether to hold normal school day or to commit to the strike.

In this context, General Secretary of the Catholic schools in Lebanon Father Boutros Azar declared that the Catholic schools are not committed to tomorrow’s strike.
