Sheikh Assir: Iran is financing the crimes in Syria

Sheikh of Sidon's Imam Bilal bin Rabah mosque Ahmed al-Assir delivered a speech on Sunday during a sit-in in Beirut Down Town area. Assir violently criticized Assad’s regime stressing that it is responsible for the murder of innocent children and women.

He also alluded that the Shiites of Iraq and Lebanon are helping the Syrian regime troops.

Assir stated that Iran is financing the “regime crimes” and urge the Iranian government to fix its differences with Yemen, Bahrain, KSA, Kuwait, Egypt, Lebanon, Syria and Palestine, emphasizing that the Iranian state has always attacked the Salafists of Lebanon.

Assir saluted the Syrian opposition and rebels and expressed his utmost support to the Syrian revolution.

Commenting on the Hezbollah’s drone aircraft sent to Isreal, Assir said: “We are sick of Hezbollah’s ‘adventures’ and we will not allow them to lead us to an unwanted place.”

The Sheikh concluded that he and his supporters, genuinely desire to live in peace with all Lebanese confessions and parties.
