Mikati, Qatari Emir discuss latest regional developments

Qatari Emir Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa al-Thani received Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati and discussed the latest developments in the region, in the presence of the Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber Al Thani and an accompanying Lebanese delegation.

Mikati mentioned that Sheikh Hamad ratified on Monday six cooperation agreements with Lebanon and said that his country is at the disposal of Lebanon on the level of projects with a high economic utility.

The delegation accompanying Mikati includes Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour, Social Affairs Minister Wael Abou Faour, Minister Ahmad Karami, Environment Minister Nazem al-Khoury and Economy and Trade Minister Nicolas Nahas.

Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati left Beirut on Monday morning heading for Qatar on a one day visit upon an official invitation.
