Ban Ki-Moon: Hezbollah’s activity in Syria threatens stability in Lebanon
In his 16th report on the implementation of UNSCR 1559 U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon considered that Hezbollah’s drone launch into Israel's airspace may threaten stability in Lebanon.

Ban Ki-Moon voiced his concern over the Syrian crisis’ repercussion on the situation in Lebanon, praising the stance of President of Michel Sleiman and PM Najib Mikati in regards to the self-distancing policy.

Exclusive sources told LBCI that Ban Ki-Moon considered that Hezbollah’s activity in Syria threatens stability in Lebanon, pointing out that he urged the Syrian government to respect Lebanon’s sovereignty and integrity. He also condemned the incidents that took place on the Lebanese side of the border.
