Judge Nada al-Asmar appointed to investigate leaks in Aoun’s assassination attempt
Attorney General Judge Hatem Madi appointed Attorney General Judge Nada al-Asmar to investigate the leaks pertaining to the attempted assassination of Change and Reform bloc leader MP Michel Aoun, published in Al Mustaqbal newspaper.

Al-Mustaqbal Daily published the entire minutes of investigations regarding the alleged assassination attempt today.

On Saturday 22 September, one of Aoun’s three convoys was allegedly the target of gunshots whilst returning from Jezzine, passing through Sidon. When the incident happened, Aoun was still in Jezzine and immediately changed the track of his convoy on route to Beirut.
