Akkar road reopened, after it was cut off by residents

The Syria-Lebanon international road was reopened on Monday after it was blocked by the residents of Tal Ande, Akkar, to protest the arrest of Samer Neaimi in Syria since last September. The residents insisted on leaving the sit-in tent in place until the promises given by the region’s official figures are implemented.

In this context, Ahmad Neaimi, Samer’s father, said that in case the efforts did not yield the release of his son, they will block the road again, calling on official attention in the case.
