Sheikh Pierre El-Daher: LBCI seeking media correction

LBCI’s chairman Sheikh Pierre El-Daher stressed that “the company is heading towards media correction in its news bulletins.”            

In an interview with As-Safir Daily, Sheikh El-Daher noted that he seeks to include in the news bulletin , events and investigations covering different angles, noting that when a country is divided, any political event should be represented from the different perspectives of opposing political factions.         

On the other hand, Daher stressed that the Lebanese should become more interested in social issues without being dragged by official political statements.

According to As-Safir Daily, Sheikh Pierre El-Daher admitted that both the channel and the viewer, are on a probationary period, during which reactions to the reports are monitored, in order to develop new grounds based on the demands of the viewers.
