Karami: the current situation threatens the Lebanese state

Former PM Omar Karami called for the formation of a government that gathers all parties.

After meeting with the UN Special Coordinator for Lebanon Derek Plumbly at his residence in Tripoli, Karami said that "the current situation in the country threatens the Lebanese state therefore it is necessary to involve everyone in the Cabinet."

For his part, Plumbly stressed that the United Nations and the International Community are concerned about the situation in Tripoli especially in terms of the security and economic conditions in the area.
