Mufti Qabbani: the next war will not have mercy on us

Grand Mufti Rashid Qabbani stressed on Wednesday that Lebanon has witnessed difference in the past wars of sedition, calling on the Lebanese people to remember these wars, in hopes of avoiding their repetition.

Mufti Qabbani noted that "the next war, should it come, will be merciless", stressing that whoever uses the streets to resolve disputes is taking wrong decisions and placing citizens in harms way. He also called on all parties to commit to the Lebanese Constitution and public institutions and to aspire for a better future.
