Demonstrations to support Sheikh Assir and the Palestinian people

Demonstrators took to the streets following Friday prayers near the Hamza Mosque and al-Mansouri Mosque in Lebanon's northern city of Tripoli heading towards Abdel Hamid Karami Square in support of Sheikh Ahmad Assir, the Syrian and Palestinian people.

Participants chanted slogans demanding the prosecution of the Israeli enemy for the massacres committed in Gaza as well as the prosecution of the officials in the Syrian regime.

It is worth mentioning that Deputies Mouin Merhebi, Mohammad Kabbara and Former MP Asaad Harmouch participated in the demonstration under the auspices of a number of Sheikhs and Scholars.

Several speeches were delivered throughout the demonstration asking the Arab and International Communities to take immediate action against Israeli and Syrian officials.

They also called on the Arab people for Jihad and martyrdom to liberate Palestine and topple the Syrian regime.
