Gunmen kill three Christians in northern Nigeria

Two gunmen on a motorcycle shot dead one Christian family of three members, father, mother and child when they were heading to the church in Kano state in northern Nigeria, where attacks carried out by the Islamic extremists against the Christians increased significantly.

A spokesman for the Kano State Police Magaja Majia reported that the two men were driving a motorcycle when they opened fire at a car, killing the mother and the child immediately, while the father was injured and taken to the hospital where he later succumbed to his wounds.
