Lebanese Basketball championship crisis under discussion

The Lebanese Basketball championship crisis was the main item in the discussions held between the Youth and Sports Minister Faisal Karami and the presidents of the five Basketball clubs which had suspended their participation in the meeting of the first division clubs.

While no accurate results were reached during the meeting, the five clubs presented their concerns before Minister Karami and proposed a number of solutions, stressing that there would have to be concessions from both sides.

Accordingly, the minister expressed his optimism regarding the case, since many solutions were presented in this regard.

In this context, the new Lebanese Basketball Federation will be holding a meeting with Minister Karami on Thursday at 1 pm where issues and solutions will be discussed.
