Ali: Syrian government considering handing over bodies of Lebanese nationals

The Syrian Ambassador to Lebanon Ali Abdel Karim Ali said on Tuesday that he will be assisting in handing over the bodies of the Lebanese nationals who died in an ambush in Syria's Talkalkh region.

Abdel Karim Ali said that he will be taking this step upon the request from the Lebanese Minister of Foreign Affairs Adnan Mansour and added that his country is studying this request for humanitarian purposes only.

On the 30th of November 2012, reports emerged saying that a number of Lebanese nationals died in a Syrian ambush in the bordering town of Talkalakh.
A security source added that these "militants" were fighting alongside the Syrian opposition forces.
