Sleiman follows up on North Lebanon's security situation

Lebanese President Michel Sleiman followed up on Tuesday the developments of the security situation in the North while meeting with concerned parties.           

He was also informed by LAF Chief General Jean Qahwaji of the on-ground steps and measures implemented by the army which aim at controlling the situation and monitoring the crossing points between Lebanon and Syria.              

These measures are set to prevent weapons smuggling, to and fro the neighboring countries.
