MP Aoun meets with delegation of Public Sector Employees

Head of Change and Reform Bloc MP Michel Aoun met on Friday with a delegation of the Lebanese public sector employees' association.

After the meeting, the delegation said that MP Aoun confirmed their rights related to the series of ranks and salaries and added that Aoun promised them imposing pressures to refer the pay scale to the Parliament.

In this context, the series of ranks and salaries was also discussed during a meeting held between the Syndicate Coordinating Committee and a union of the public sector retirees.

A press conference is expected to be held on the 3rd of January 2013 to follow up the Syndicate Coordinating Committee's steps regarding the pay scale, rejecting its installment, and refusing compensation on pensions of retirees.
