REPORT: The Palestinian refugees' right to real estate property campaign launched

The Palestinian refugees live in the streets without any hope of a decent life, and no matter how much they try to improve their living conditions they will continue living in the camps, since they do not have the right to own real estate.            

In this context, 12 Palestinian NGOs kicked off work to call for the Palestinian refugees' right to real estate property; after the foreign ownership law has been amended in 2001, denying them their real estate right.            

They were deprived form their homes in Palestine, and they are being deprived from a decent life in Lebanon. Will the government meet their demands and treat them fairly like other non-Lebanese people?
