LU professors go on strike Thursday

The Lebanese University Committee’s contractual professors held an urgent meeting Tuesday whereby they decided to hold a strike Thursday morning, followed by further measures until their demand to be granted tenure is met.

A call was made for all contractual teachers to halt all classes on Thursday and hold a sit-in at the junction of the presidential palace, two hours before the beginning of the cabinet session.
