Mikati: Any stability breach will impact the entire nation

Prime Minister Najib Mikati reiterated his call for refraining to deal with political affairs from a narrow and personal perspective. "They should be tackled through the national dimension where the nation's interests prevail over all other interests," he said adding that the cabinet sought to preserve security and safety and made sure that Lebanon does not get affected by the regional turmoil.    

"Any stability breach will spare no party; its negative repercussions will have an impact on the entire region," he said.      

During the ceremony of distribution of advanced informational training certificates organized by the State Ministry for Administrative Development Affairs, Mikati stressed that there is no such thing as a strong state without a strong economy while there is no promising economy without a just state "which deals with its citizens based on what relieves them and provides them with permanent security guarantees instead of temporary panaceas."        

Mikati stressed that the only choice before the nation to overcome international, regional and domestic hardships, is the use of its human and ICT-related powers as a main tool for developing an economic and social renaissance.
