Public administrations to close January 24 to mark prophet's Birthday

Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati issued on Wednesday a memo concerning the closure of public administrations on the occasion of the Prophet's birthday (Eid Mawlid al-Nabawi).            

The memo stipulated the closure of public administration, institutions and municipalities on the 12th of Rabi al-Awwal 1434 H [Thursday 24th of January 2013] to mark the Prophet's birthday in accordance to decree number 15215, issued on the 27th of September 2009, and its amendments, which specifies official holidays.
