LU students in Halba protest permanent suspension of classes

The youth sector at the Future Movement and the students of the Science faculty at the Lebanese University in Halba, Akkar, staged on Wednesday a sit-in inside the university's campus to protest the permanent suspension of classes due to the strike held by contract teachers.

The protesters also expressed their rejection to the idea of transferring the second-year students to Tripoli in order for them to pursue their education due to the absence of teachers at Halba's campus.
