Charbel discusses tenure issue with Lebanese University contract teachers

Minister of Interior and Municipalities Marwan Charbel received a delegation of Lebanese University contract teachers who briefed him on their plight and urged him to make sure they are granted permanent tenure as soon as possible.

Charbel stressed his support for the teachers’ “righteous” case, saying that he is in contact with both President Michel Sleiman and Prime Minister Najib Mikati who promised him to look into the Lebanese University’s affairs very soon.
