Iran will not relinquish its ‘nuclear rights’

Chief nuclear negotiator of Iran Saeed Jalili stressed on Saturday that Iran will not relinquish its rights nor will it go beyond its international obligations during the next negotiations with world powers in regards to the Iranian controversial nuclear program.

While delivered a speech before the Iranian nuclear industry officials Jalili said: “We won’t accept anything that goes beyond our obligations nor any disrespect for our rights, stipulated in the non-proliferation treaty (NPT)”.

It is worth noting that the Iranian firm stance coincides with a meeting that Jalili is expected to hold with a delegation of the world powers on the 26th of February in Almaty, Kazakhstan in order to resume negotiations on the Iranian nuclear file.
