Al Shahhal: I will issue a jihadi Fatwa

The Salafist cleric Dai al-Islam al Shahhal unveiled on Saturday the circumstances surrounding Majdal Anjar’s incident, adding that Sunnis are the sole victims. “Should this situation drags on, I will issue a jihadi Fatwa against those who undermine the Sunni community,” he added.

In this context, al Shahhal called on the military institution to enhance its performance in order to maintain the public security in the country, pointing out that Hezbollah’s continuous involvement in the suppression of the Syrian revolution could cause civil war.

In addition, al Shahhal warned some Lebanese parties advocating the self-dissociation policy against any intervention in the Syrian crisis.

On another note, al Shahhal called on the government to grant the Lebanese citizens their daily needs, stressing his support to the Union Coordination Committee.
