REPORT: LU contract teachers promise to carry out further movements

The issue of the Lebanese University’s contract teachers was brought back to light when a professor was granted full time employment seven days before his retirement.

Accordingly, the teachers resumed their movements, and the Lebanese University contract teachers committee held a press conference on Monday at the Faculty of Science, first branch – Hadath, under the title “the scandal of the cabinet’s approval to grant only one teacher full-time employment”.

The committee promised the officials “further movements” stressing that it will reveal “very important details in case the cabinet does not approve their full-time employment during the next session.
