Palestinian NGOs call on Obama to change policy of alignment with Israel

At least one hundred Palestinian NGOs sent on Thursday written letters to the US President Barack Obama, calling on him to change the policy of the United States of America's alignment with Israel.

The organizations demanded that the Palestinian people's right of return be safeguarded, alongside the right to self-determination and to an independent state, so that security, stability and peace are restored in the region and the world, the statement said.
