West Bank prepares for Easter Holiday

The preparations for the Easter holiday kicked off in parallel to the prayers voiced in the Holy Lands during the Holy Week of the Christian communities that follow the Western church calendar.

While the residents of the West Bank prepare for the Holiday with joy, the soaring prices of the consumer goods constitute a major obstacle facing their everyday life, as these prices have increased by 25%.

However, the Palestinian families try, despite the many difficulties they face, to preserve the traditions, such as coloring Easter eggs as a symbol of life and renewal.
