Gemayel stresses Kataeb's support for Salam’s national mission

Head of the Kataeb party Amin Gemayel stressed on Tuesday the need to reach a new electoral law, noting that the Kataeb is determined to support the mission of PM-designate Tammam Salam.

In a statement made following his meeting with Salam at the latter’s residence in Msaitbe, Gemayel stressed his party’s solidarity with the PM-designate and keenness for his success.

“We will stand by PM-designate Salam in his national mission,” Gemayel said, noting that this position must be taken by all political parties for the benefit of the country.

In this context, PM-designate Tammam Salam continued receiving visitors congratulating him on his designation, including the British, Turkish and Kuwaiti ambassadors to Lebanon.
