Future bloc condemns Hezbollah's ongoing involvement in Syria

The Future bloc said on Tuesday that some Lebanese parties are hindering the work of the Prime Minister-Designate Tammam Salam in preserving national interest, stressing that the cabinet should be formed by a homogenous and effective team of ministers who are not running for the parliamentary elections.

Following its weekly meeting, the Future bloc issued a statement whereby it denounced Syria's violations of the Lebanese borders, offering condolences to all the families that lost relatives in the attacks. The bloc called on the government to submit memos concerning this issue to the Arab League.

On the other hand, the bloc reiterated its condemnation of Hezbollah's "ongoing involvement" in Syria, stating that “dying while defending the Syrian regime is considered a crime,”.

On the rising influx of Syrian refugees into Lebanon, the bloc called on concerned parties to solve the issue, at the highest local, Arab and international levels.
