Israel threatens Lebanon, says will pay the price for any Hezbollah attack

The Israeli Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon delivered a speech for the occasion of Israel's Independence Day whereby he said that “Lebanon will pay the price for any attack carried out by Hezbollah against Israel.”

In this context, Ya’alon added that “Hezbollah and Hamas will fire their rockets against Israeli cities and civilians once they receive an order”, noting that these organizations possess tens of thousands of rockets within their military arsenal.

The minister added that Hezbollah poses a permanent threat and is ready for a conflict with Israel with Iranian and Syrian assistance, although “the party is busy fighting on behalf of the Syrian regime.”

On Iran, Yaalon described Tehran's nuclear program as "the most significant threat" to the world, stressing that the only way to halt the project is by forcing Iran to choose between the nuclear bomb and survival.
