Christmas is the most magical time of the year, but also one of the seasons we tend to overspend, create lots of waste and become top consumers!
These small holiday habits are toxic to the environment, yet many easy steps can be taken to go green on the holidays!




  • Buy Eco-friendly gifts! Yes they exist , even in Lebanon! From green clothes, food baskets to plants.
  • Have only one shopping day. 
  • Cook once, eat twice! Cook large batches of food that can be used in a number of items throughout the week. Also, make sauces and entrees that can be frozen and re-heated later.
  • If hosting a party, go for reusable dishware or for Eco-friendly dishes, napkins and utensils instead.
  • Buy local, organic produce for your food'!
  • Recycle! Beer bottles, soda cans, etc.can be placed in the recycling bin or even donated to recycled art foundations.

Last but not least please use bio degradable trash bags and think of the homeless people and furry friends by giving away leftovers.
