Tourism Ministry calls on institutions to adopt strict measures against Covid-19
The Ministry of Tourism issued a statement on Thursday in which it called upon restaurants and other tourist attractions across Lebanon to adopt strict measures to help curb the spread of Coronavirus.

The statement affirmed the institutions’ duty to adopt strict social distancing measures, as well as controlling the percentage of clients within the organization, provided that it does not exceed 50% of its capacity.

The statement also reiterated calls for the implementation of Law No. 174, which regulates smoking in public places, workplaces, and public transport, restaurants, nightclubs, hotels, and other tourism venues.

The statement warned that any violation of the aforementioned preventive measures could lead to the permanent closure of the involved institution.
