Caretaker Prime Minister Hassan Diab received on Moday at his Tallet al-Khayat residence, Russian Ambassador to Lebanon Alexander Rudakov, in the presence of Caretaker Minister Imad Hoballah, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Arwan Pharmaceutical Industries Eng. Abed el Razak Youssef and Vice President Dr. Rouwaida Daham, in the presence of PM Advisor Khodor Taleb.
The meeting deliberated on the company’s efforts to manufacture the Russian "Sputnik" vaccine in Lebanon, and to negotiate the issue with Russia.
Diab expressed his support for this step.
