A Lebanese shepherd was mistakenly thought to have been kidnapped by Israeli troops on Thursday after he went missing for a while.

In the details, Israeli troops opened fire towards Mohammed Hashem who was accompanied by another Syrian herdsman on the outskirts of the town of Shebaa.

Both shepherds fled the area and the Syrian national thought Hashem was abducted after he lost contact with him.

Hashem later returned unharmed.
