Hariri accuses Syria’s Assad of being ‘terrorist’

Former Prime Minister Saad Hariri responded Thursday to the remarks made by Syrian President Bashar al-Assad who considered that “stamping out terrorism requires a joint international effort.”

“Assad speaks of terrorism and he is the terrorist par excellence,” Hariri said via his Twitter account.

Earlier today, Assad received US Senator Richard Black and discussed with him the situation in Syria.

During the discussion, the president highlighted that the terrorist attacks, which have hit several areas in the world, prove that terrorism knows no borders.

Fighting terrorism, he added, demands a joint international effort.
