Sandy Tabet was crowned Miss Lebanon 2016, in a ceremony held on Saturday at Casino Du Liban, aired live on LBCI.

Aimee Sayah was hosting the event, while Lebanese singer Wael Kfoury entertained the spectators with a series of his popular songs.

In her first statement, Sandy Tabet declared that her mission will focus on helping children with autism, adding in a statement to LBCI that she hopes that the presidential vacuum in Lebanon ends as soon as possible.
